About the Author

Gloria Sweet has spent most of her life in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she worked in cash management and banking while raising a family with her husband, Jack. They have been married for 53 years and have two children.

Now retired, Gloria has more time to look back on the people and experiences that shaped her life. There was work, family, travel, birdwatching, writing, and plenty of those everyday situations that you don’t think much about at the time, but remember years later. Some memories are funny. Others are harder. In “A Bird Remembers”, Gloria shares them with honesty, affection, and a good sense of humor.
